The KazLedPro portfolio holds 62 published projects: schools and universities, shopping malls and stores, banquet halls, government buildings, TV studios, control rooms, hotels, an airport and residential complexes. Every case states the city, the installation date and what the screen is built from — not an advertising promise but a specific job at a specific address. Since 2012 more than a thousand projects have been completed in total.
The geography covers 16 cities. Most sites are in Almaty, where the office, warehouse and installation crew are based; then Astana, Karaganda, Turkestan, Taldykorgan, Aktobe, Aktau, Taraz, Kokshetau, Semey, Talgar, Aksay, Kapchagay and Chundzha, plus Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE. Travelling installation across Kazakhstan is routine for us: the crew arrives with its own tools, truss and spare modules.
The portfolio works better as a reference book than as a gallery: find a site similar to yours in type and room size, look at its pixel pitch and viewing distance, and calculate your own LED screen from there. Below we set out the types of sites, what the figures in a case card mean and how to find a suitable example for your task quickly.
What kinds of sites are in the portfolio
The projects are spread unevenly, and that honestly reflects demand in Kazakhstan: most screens go into assembly halls of educational institutions and into banquet halls, then retail, then government buildings and studios. Within each group the tasks repeat, so the solutions look alike — a neighbour's case usually tells you what you will get.
- Schools and universities, more than fifteen sites: gymnasium No. 130 named after I. Zhansugurov, gymnasium No. 132, school-gymnasium No. 133, school-gymnasium No. 153 named after A. Rozybakiev, the NGS private school, Almaty International School, Tien Shan International School, KIS school, the Academy of Logistics and Transport, Nur-Mubarak University, K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University and the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University in Turkestan.
- Shopping malls and stores: Almaty ТРК FORUM (48 m², P3, 2023), Moll Aport mall (64 m², P3, 2023), an outdoor corner P5 screen on the facade of Atakent Mall (2023), the Vivo brand zone of the Sulpak store at Dostyk Plaza (P2.5, 14 m², 2023), and the Adidas, Lacoste and SuperStep stores.
- Banquet halls and restaurants: Astana Plaza (2020), Eleven Hotel & Hall (2019), Tulpar (2020), Tumar (P4, 2021), a hall in Kokshetau (2020), YASY in Turkestan (2022), Club T (2021), the Saudabay restaurant (2020), restaurant 888 in Chundzha (2022) and Casino Montana in Kapchagay (2021).
- Government and culture: the Talgar akimat (2021), the National Security Committee building in Taraz (2021), the Border Academy of the National Security Committee (2022), the I. Zhansugurov Palace of Culture in Taldykorgan (100 m², P3, 2023), the House of Culture in Aksay (62 m², 2021), a polyclinic in Turkestan (2021) and the House of Children and Youth in Karaganda (2021).

- Business and transport: the conference hall of Holiday Inn Almaty, the Kazakhstan hotel (P4, 2021), the RAMS sales office (2020), Smart Point (2021), the arrivals hall of Karaganda airport (2020), the Highvill residential complex and the Bazis company in Astana (2021), and the Royal Petrol filling station chain (2019).
How to read a case
A project card carries no marketing, only technical data: city, installation date, pixel pitch or module size, screen area and the minimum viewing distance. Those four figures are enough to tell whether the solution suits you. Pitch speaks about pixel density and the price per metre, distance about where the picture stops breaking into dots, area about the scale of the structure and the power supply.
An example: school assembly halls usually carry P4 built from 256×256 mm modules with a viewing distance from 4 metres — the audience sits in the hall, a fine pitch is not needed there and paying extra for it makes no sense. In a meeting room or a studio it is the other way round: a P0.93–P2 screen is watched from two or three metres, and there the pitch matters more than the area. Some cases include video from the site and client testimonials — Holiday Inn Almaty, the Shokan Ualikhanov private school and the assembly hall of KIS school among them.
How to find a comparable site for your task
The routine is simple. First define the type of site: a hall with a stage, a retail floor, a facade, a studio, a control room. Then find a project of the same type in the portfolio and compare two parameters: the distance from the screen to the nearest viewer and the size of the room. If they are close, the pitch from that case will suit you too, and all that remains is to calculate the area for your own opening.
If there is no site of the same type, go by distance: the rule that pitch in millimetres roughly equals distance in metres holds for a banquet hall and for a facade alike. Area and resolution for your dimensions are shown by the calculator on the site, and for a conversation with a manager it is enough to bring a link to the case you liked and the room dimensions — that is all it takes to get a quote.
- A school or university assembly hall, viewers at 4–6 m: look at the gymnasium and school cases, pitch P3–P4.
- A banquet hall, guests at tables 3–5 m away: Astana Plaza, Tumar, YASY and the Kokshetau hall.
- A retail floor or shop window, customer at 2–3 m: Dostyk Plaza, Moll Aport, the Adidas and Lacoste stores.
- A facade or street site, viewers from 10 m and beyond: Atakent Mall, Bazis in Astana, K. Zhubanov University.
- A studio or control room, operator at 1.5–3 m: the Eurasia TV studios, ENOC and the Dubai command centre.
- An event for one evening: look at the Rental section rather than the portfolio — the rental cabinets are there.
How the project goes
- 1
You pick a comparable case
Find a site of your type and a similar viewing distance in the portfolio. Send us the link and the room dimensions — that is enough to start a concrete conversation instead of a general one.
- 2
Survey and clarification
In Almaty we come to the site; for other cities we work from photos and drawings. We look at the opening, the wall, the power supply, ambient light and where the audience will sit.
- 3
Calculation and proposal
We calculate pitch, area, resolution, power, cabinet layout and the steel structure. A proposal with specification, lead time and warranty is sent within a day.
- 4
Installation and commissioning
Our own crew mounts the structure, assembles the screen, runs the lines, calibrates brightness and colour, connects the sources and trains your staff to work with content.
- 5
Handover and a place in the portfolio
Acceptance act, screen passport, video report, 2–5 year warranty. With your consent the site joins the portfolio with photos, the way the previous 62 did.
What the price depends on
At KazLedPro indoor screens start from 260,000 ₸ per m² and outdoor screens from 300,000 ₸ per m². On the Kazakhstan market a square metre of LED screen costs roughly between 180,000 and 1,500,000 ₸: the lower end is a coarse pitch for outdoor use, the upper end a fine-pitch screen for a studio or meeting room. This is a market reference, not our price list: we do not publish prices in the cases, because they depend on dimensions, the year and the scope of work. The exact quote is calculated from your dimensions, the calculator on the site gives layout and resolution, and the commercial proposal is ready within a day.
Pixel pitch and area
The two figures in any case that decide most of the sum. A finer pitch costs more per metre, and area multiplies modules, frame, power supply and installation hours.
Type of site
An assembly hall, a retail floor, a facade and a studio place different demands on brightness, protection and servicing. The same screen size costs differently indoors and on the street.
Steel structure and height
A wall frame in a hall, a free-standing support on a square or a facade structure at height. Work above three metres adds a lift or scaffolding; a facade adds wind-load calculation.
City and logistics
A site in Almaty costs less than a travelling one: in another city the road, the crew's accommodation and delivery of equipment from the warehouse are all counted.
Power, control and training
Power lines, video processor, control software and staff training. In cases with light-and-music control, truss, fixtures and cabling are added to that.
Questions and answers
How many completed projects do you have?
More than a thousand sites across Kazakhstan since 2012. Sixty-two of them are published in the portfolio on this site — the ones with photographs, the client's consent and clear technical data. The rest either repeat published projects or were not cleared for publication, which is normal for banks, security agencies and private sites.
Why are there no prices in the cases?
Because the price depends on dimensions, pixel pitch, construction, the year of delivery and the scope of work, and an old figure from a project three years back would mislead. A market reference is given in the cost section above, and an exact quote for your dimensions is calculated and sent within a day.
Have you worked in my city?
The portfolio covers 16 cities: Almaty, Astana, Karaganda, Aktobe, Aktau, Taraz, Taldykorgan, Turkestan, Kokshetau, Semey, Talgar, Aksay, Kapchagay and Chundzha, plus Dubai and Abu Dhabi. If your city is not on the list that is no obstacle: the travelling crew works across Kazakhstan and logistics is quoted separately.
Can we see your screens in person?
In Almaty, yes. Screens are running at Almaty ТРК FORUM, Moll Aport mall, on the facade of Atakent Mall, in the Vivo brand zone of the Sulpak store at Dostyk Plaza, and in the Adidas, Lacoste and SuperStep stores. Module samples and a side-by-side pitch comparison are shown at the office at 1a Monke Bi Street.
Do you have projects for schools and government bodies?
Yes, they make up a large part of the portfolio: more than fifteen schools, gymnasiums and universities, plus the Talgar akimat, the National Security Committee building in Taraz, the Border Academy, the houses of culture in Taldykorgan and Aksay, and a polyclinic in Turkestan. KazLedPro is listed in the registry of domestic manufacturers and holds the KTP certificate, so taking part in procurement is a familiar procedure for us.
Have you built screens for TV studios and control rooms?
Yes. The Eurasia TV studios in Almaty and Astana, the ENOC situation centre in Dubai with a P1.53 screen, and the Dubai Police command centre with fine-pitch P0.93 screens. Filming on camera makes refresh rate critical; a control room needs round-the-clock operation and a fine pitch, because the operator sits two metres from the canvas.
Can a project from the portfolio be repeated at our site?
Usually yes, if the room is comparable in size and viewing distance. A model from a case three years old may have been succeeded by a close equivalent — in that event we offer the replacement with the same pitch and specifications no worse than before. Send the link to the case and your room dimensions, and we will calculate the rest.
Are there client testimonials?
There are, and some were filmed on the sites themselves: the conference hall of Holiday Inn Almaty, the Shokan Ualikhanov private school, the assembly hall of KIS school, the SuperStep and Lacoste stores at Mega Almaty, and the Adidas store chain. The video opens on the relevant case page together with photographs of the site.
