Rental LED cabinets 500×1000 mm

Rental LED cabinets 500×1000 mm are screens that get assembled and taken apart dozens of times a year: conferences, concerts, weddings, exhibitions, roadshow presentations. A cabinet locks to its neighbour without tools, and a screen of any size in 0.5 m steps goes up in two to four hours. This page is about buying such cabinets outright: for rental companies, event agencies, concert venues, banquet halls and cultural centres that need a screen constantly and in a different configuration every time.

Rental cabinets in the price list

All five models share one format: a 500×1000 mm cabinet, a 250×250 mm module and a refresh rate from 3,840 Hz, so the screen can be filmed without banding. They differ in pixel pitch, brightness and weight. For conferences and presentations where the audience sits two to three metres from the stage, take P1.95 or P2.6; for concerts, weddings and exhibitions viewed from four metres, P2.9 and P3.91 are enough — you need the same number of cabinets for the same area, and they cost noticeably less. The outdoor P3.91 in an IP68 housing is built for fan zones, city festivals and any open-air site.

Indoor models weigh 13–15 kg per cabinet, the outdoor one 11–13 kg: one person lifts a cabinet onto a rigging beam without a hoist. Operating temperature is −20 to +50 °C for indoor models and −40 to +50 °C for the outdoor one, so it handles winter events outside.

• Indoor P3.91: 500 cd/m², 65,536 pixels/m², about 14 kg — large backdrops viewed from 4 m.
• Outdoor P3.91: 5,500–7,800 cd/m², IP68, CNC-machined cast aluminium, refresh up to 7,680 Hz, 11–13 kg, 100,000-hour lifespan.

What is in the box and what else you need

Each cabinet already carries its modules, power supplies and receiving card, so the basic kit is the cabinets themselves, a video processor and the signal and power jumpers between cabinets. Beyond that it depends on how you will stand the screen: rigging needs top beams and hardware, a ground stack needs bases and braces. We size the kit for your typical screen and for your largest one, so cables and beams cover both cases.

Rental equipment lives in a truck and a warehouse, not on a wall, so it makes sense to add flight cases with foam inserts and a spares kit from the start: spare modules, a power supply and a receiving card for every few dozen cabinets. Modules in these cabinets come off the front on magnets, so your technician replaces one on site in five minutes without calling a service crew. Power for the venue application is calculated up front: indoor models draw a maximum of 600–800 W/m² and an average of 240–320 W/m².

Your own fleet or renting every time

Buying rental cabinets pays off where a screen is needed regularly: a venue runs events several times a week, an agency tours the same backdrop between cities, a cultural centre alternates concerts and conferences. Your own fleet is built when it suits you, and on free days it is sub-rented and works for you. Fleets grow in batches: cabinets of one model still lock together a year later, so the first ten are topped up to forty without changing the processor.

The same 500×1000 mm format is also installed permanently: in 2021 we built a 62 m² screen from these cabinets at the House of Culture in Aksai, and the same year a P4.81 screen on 500×1000 cabinets at the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University in Turkistan. For a buyer this means part of the fleet can stay fixed in a hall while the rest travels. Cabinets carry a 2–5 year warranty depending on the model, spare modules are stocked in Almaty, and service travels anywhere in Kazakhstan.
