LED screens in Astana

KazLedPro has been supplying and installing LED screens in Astana since 2017: our first project in the capital was a screen at the EXPO-2017 exhibition site. The company has worked since 2012, with production and a module warehouse in Almaty; the installation crew travels to Astana in our own vehicles. Logistics cover the roughly 1,200 kilometres in a day, so delivery to the capital differs from Almaty by a day or two, not by weeks.

We have four different projects in Astana: a fine-pitch studio screen, an outdoor advertising screen, a screen in a residential complex and an exhibition screen. These are exactly the tasks LED screens are bought for in the capital — broadcast picture, street advertising, wayfinding and building image, temporary venues.

We calculate size and resolution for your opening, prepare a quote with an itemised estimate, deliver, mount on our own steel structure, connect the system and train your staff. Warranty is 2–5 years depending on the model, with service under contract.

What already runs in Astana

Eurasia TV studio — a P2 screen supplied and installed in August 2021 for on-camera work: studio shooting needs a high refresh rate, otherwise banding appears on video. Bazis company — an outdoor P10 screen of 960×960 mm cabinets, January 2021, viewing distance from ten metres. Highvill residential complex — a P3 screen, June 2021. EXPO-2017 — a 9 m² screen of 320×160 mm modules, February 2017.

An outdoor screen in the capital's climate

The main question about Astana is winter. Outdoor model passports give an operating temperature down to −40 °C, so the screen stays on all year; LEDs do not degrade in frost, and what really matters is condensation and the quality of module sealing.

The second question is brightness. Outdoor models deliver 5,500–7,800 cd/m², enough against direct summer sun. In the evening brightness drops automatically by sensor: a screen running at full power at night dazzles drivers and annoys the whole block.

The third is the structure. We calculate the steel frame for the wind load at that specific point and weld it ourselves: facade frame, roof mount, or a free-standing support on its own legs. For a roadside advertising screen that is half the project.

Timing, installation and service in the capital

A typical lead time from contract to launch is two to six weeks, made up of model availability, steel fabrication and the site access schedule. Models in the Almaty warehouse ship to Astana straight away; rare pitches take longer to order.

Installation is done by our own crew, not a contractor found through an advert: the same people who assemble screens in Almaty work on site. We are responsible for the power supply up to the screen, the mounting and the commissioning.

After handover comes service: remote status monitoring, diagnostics from photos and video, call-outs under contract, module replacement from the Almaty warehouse. We also service screens installed by other companies — a common story in the capital when a contractor disappears after installation.

Public procurement and tenders in Astana

A large share of screens in the capital is bought through goszakup.gov.kz and quasi-public sector procurement. KazLedPro is listed in the registry of domestic manufacturers (KTP industrial certificate), which gives our bid a price preference in public procurement.
