LED screen at Restaurant "888"

In January 2022 KazLedPro installed an LED screen in the banquet hall of Restaurant 888 in Chundzha. This was an out-of-town project beyond Almaty: the screen was assembled and configured on site. For a restaurant in a district centre a large screen is a noticeable advantage: weddings and anniversaries here are held on a grand scale, and clients expect the same standard of presentation as in the city.

What we did

We installed an LED screen built from 320×160 mm modules. The minimum viewer-to-screen distance is 4 metres, which matches the distance from the nearest tables to the stage: guests see an even picture with no dots, while from the depth of the hall the image is large and bright. The screen is a single canvas with no joints, showing photo stories, congratulatory clips, music videos and a camera feed so that the far tables can see the host and the performers. It is driven from one laptop, and content switches in seconds.

Why this screen

A banquet hall is a room with constant lighting and stage lights, where a projector does not work: the picture drowns in the illumination. An LED screen is a light source in itself, and its contrast does not depend on the lighting in the hall. The 4-metre viewing distance was chosen to match the real seating plan — a finer pitch would have made no sense here and would only have raised the cost. The 320×160 mm modules give flexibility in size: the canvas was built to fit the specific wall of the hall.
