LED screen for Tien Shan International School

In February 2022 KazLedPro equipped the private Tien Shan International School in Almaty with an LED screen and stage lighting. The school wanted a full stage venue for its events — concerts, plays, graduations — where the lighting and the picture work together rather than being bought or rented separately for each occasion.

What we did

The screen. An LED screen built from 320×160 mm modules. The minimum viewing distance is 4 metres: from the front rows the image is solid, with no visible dots, and from the back rows it is large and high in contrast. The screen shows video backdrops for performances, pupils’ presentations, photographs and a live camera feed.

Stage lighting. We installed a lighting set that works together with the screen: the fixtures light the stage and set the mood of a performance, while the screen provides the backdrop. The lighting follows the event script and changes along with the picture.

Why this combination

A screen alone makes a stage informative but not festive. An international school has many productions in English, musical numbers and graduation ceremonies — and these need lighting. Installing it together with the screen is cheaper and simpler than adding it later: cable routes, mounts and control are designed once. A viewing distance from 4 metres, matched to the seating in the hall, is a sensible choice for a stage: the image is sharp from any row, and the budget is not spent on a pitch that would be excessive here.
