LED screen at Restaurant Saudabay

Restaurant Saudabay in Almaty is a banquet hall used for weddings, anniversaries, toi celebrations and corporate evenings. In early August 2020 KazLedPro installed an LED screen in the hall: the client needed a large, bright picture visible under full lighting and from any table — a projector and televisions are too weak for a hall of this size. What we did

We installed an indoor LED screen built from 320×160 mm modules. The minimum viewer-to-screen distance is 4 metres: the nearest tables stand at exactly that distance, so guests see a smooth picture with no grain, while from the opposite end of the hall names, greetings and video frames stay legible. The canvas is continuous, with no seams between modules.

The source is the host’s or the manager’s laptop: the screen carries photo stories of the newlyweds, music videos, greetings from guests and a camera feed, and between events the restaurant’s own backdrop or advertising.

Why this screen

A banquet hall lives with the lights on: chandeliers, accent lighting, photographers’ flashes, lasers and smoke on the dance floor. In that environment a projector turns into a pale patch and gets switched off. An LED screen runs at full brightness all evening and becomes part of the decoration itself. The 320×160 mm modules made it possible to build a canvas of the right proportions for the space, and the 4-metre distance matches the real seating plan — no tables are placed closer to the screen.
