LED screen at a polyclinic in Turkestan

The polyclinic in Turkestan is a medical facility where, alongside seeing patients, the staff hold meetings, training seminars for doctors, reporting conferences and celebrations. In early January 2021 KazLedPro installed an LED screen and stage lighting here: the client needed a hall that serves for talks and presentations on working days and for staff celebrations on holidays. What we did

The LED screen. An indoor LED screen with a P2 pixel pitch built from 320×160 mm modules. The minimum viewer-to-screen distance is only 2 metres: this is a fine pitch at which individual dots are invisible even from the front row, and the small text of medical presentations — tables, charts, scans — reads without strain. The canvas is continuous, with no seams, and is driven from the presenter’s computer or laptop.

Stage lighting. A set of stage lights for the staff’s celebrations: the colour and pattern of the light change with the programme of the evening, while on working days the fixtures are simply switched off and stay out of the way.

Why this screen

In a medical facility the screen carries data rather than concert backdrops: statistics, diagrams, protocols, scans at training seminars. Detail matters here, and the P2 pitch was chosen for exactly that — from two metres a doctor can see every line of a table. A coarser pitch in a small hall where the front row sits close would have shown visible grain.
