For the ESTE store at MEGA mall in Almaty, KazLedPro built a screen of P2.5, about 8 m², that is part of the interior design rather than an object placed inside it.
The shape comes from the interior design
At the client’s request the screen is not a standard rectangle: the LED surface is integrated into a design solution with diamond geometry that was part of the store’s design package. Every element of the structure was assembled around that overall shape so the panel reads as part of the finish.
The difference matters. A rectangular screen on a wall always stays a foreign object — a frame, margins, a shadow around the edge. A screen that follows the lines of the interior reads as a glowing part of the wall; the customer notices the image, not the equipment.
What that means in practice
A non-standard shape always means extra engineering: the module layout is calculated for that specific geometry, the frame is fabricated separately, and cabling is routed so that no cable leaves the outline. In exchange, the result cannot be reproduced by buying a stock screen — it exists only for this room.
Specification
- Pixel pitch — P2.5
- Area — about 8 m²
- Location — sales floor, as part of the wall design
The pitch was chosen from viewing distance: customers come within two or three metres, and at a coarser pitch the image would start breaking into dots.
What the store got
- an LED surface built into the interior design rather than mounted over it;
- a dense P2.5 pitch for close viewing;
- a bespoke frame and module layout for the given geometry;
- installation, commissioning and service by KazLedPro in Almaty.
