LED screen at an amusement park in Almaty

The amusement park in Almaty is a venue with rides, play areas and a steady flow of families with children, especially at weekends. In early March 2022 KazLedPro installed an LED screen here: the park needed a large picture for show announcements, programme schedules, partner advertising and simply a bright backdrop that sets a festive mood right from the entrance.

What we did

We supplied and installed an LED screen built from 320×160 mm modules assembled into a single canvas. The minimum viewer-to-screen distance is 5 metres: nobody in the park stands right up against the screen — people look at it from the walkway, from a queue for a ride or from the performance area, and at that distance the picture is even and sharp. The screen carries cartoons and animation for children, event posters, broadcasts from celebrations and advertising clips.

Why this screen

For an entertainment space the decisive factor is not resolution up close but size and brightness: the screen has to stand out across the whole site, above the bright signs and lighting of the rides. The 320×160 mm module makes it possible to build a wide canvas of the required area without spending extra on a fine pitch that cannot be resolved from 5 metres anyway. On top of that, an LED screen easily withstands many hours of daily operation — the regime in which the park lives seven days a week.
