adidas LED fit-out at MEGA mall

The adidas store at MEGA mall in Almaty is one of KazLedPro’s most densely equipped retail projects. Here LED surfaces cover not isolated points but the architecture of the whole floor: columns, the shopfront line, the footwear zones and the till.

Two LED columns

Two large columns in the store are fully clad in LED panels in a U shape — the front face and both sides are covered. Each structure measures about 3.20 × 4.80 m. The column stops being an obstacle on the floor and becomes a digital object visible from every side: the customer walks around it and stays inside the frame the whole time.

A ticker of about 50 metres at the entrance

The entrance area carries an LED ticker set into a specially prepared niche, flush with the shopfront. The ticker is about 50 metres wide and 16 cm high. It is the longest continuous line in the project: it runs the length of the shopfront and reads from the opposite gallery of the mall.

Flush mounting is essential here. A protruding housing over fifty metres would become a prominent shelf collecting dust and shadow; a ticker recessed into a niche looks like a glowing line in the wall.

Three screens in the footwear zones

The footwear zones hold three separate screens of 128 × 256 cm each. The vertical format follows the proportions of the shelving, and separate installation allows different content on each — a model, a collection, a price.

A curved ticker above the till

Above the till area sits a separate ticker of about 4.48 × 0.16 m. A steel structure with the required bend was fabricated so the screen follows the intended shape precisely. Three smaller tickers of 0.96 × 0.16 m were added for local zones.

What the store got

• two columns working as full-circle advertising surfaces;
• a 50-metre line along the shopfront, visible from the neighbouring gallery;
• three screens in the footwear zones running separate content;
• one digital system in which all surfaces are driven together;
• structural design, installation and service by KazLedPro in Almaty.
