LED screen at the Border Guard Academy of the NSC of Kazakhstan

The Border Guard Academy of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty is an institution where ceremonial parades, oath-taking, lectures and meetings follow a strict protocol, and the equipment used at them has to work without failures. In early March 2022 KazLedPro installed an LED screen at the academy. The video above shows the screen after commissioning.

What we did

We installed an LED screen built from 320×160 mm modules. The minimum viewer-to-screen distance is 3 metres: the front rows see a whole picture with no grain, and presentation text is legible from the back seats. The canvas is assembled without joints, and the image is single across the whole screen. It carries presentations and teaching material, video clips, broadcasts of ceremonial events and the state symbols during parades.

Why this screen

In a hall used for formal events, reliability and legibility matter most. The 320×160 mm modules, with a pitch matched to a distance from 3 metres, give a dense picture for a medium-sized hall: the text of reports and diagrams read from any seat, and the client does not overpay for a density that is only needed when viewing from right up close. An LED canvas works under full lighting — the room does not have to be darkened for a presentation, which matters particularly at official events.
