LED screen at the restaurant "Klub T"

Klub T in Almaty is a restaurant where evenings bring banquets and live music, while daytime brings business lunches and broadcasts. In early November 2021 KazLedPro installed an LED screen at the restaurant: the venue needed one screen that works both as a video backdrop for a celebration and as a big screen for matches and concerts. The video above shows the screen in the hall.

What we did

We installed an LED screen built from 500×500 mm cabinets. The minimum viewer-to-screen distance is 2.5 metres: guests at the nearest tables see an even picture with no grain, while subtitles and captions read from the far end of the hall. A cabinet build suits a restaurant: the screen assembles quickly, looks neat from the sides and, if needed, can be serviced one cabinet at a time without taking the whole canvas apart. Content changes from a computer — the menu of the day, a greeting for a birthday guest, a clip from the evening’s sponsor, a sports broadcast.

Why this screen

The lighting in a restaurant is dimmed but not dark, and spotlights work on the stage. A projector gives a pale picture in these conditions, and a television gets lost in a large hall. An LED screen is a light source in itself: it holds its contrast under any stage lighting, and a distance from 2.5 metres allows it to be placed right by the tables rather than only at the back of the stage.
