Sportmaster LED screens at MEGA mall

For the Sportmaster store at MEGA mall in Almaty, KazLedPro installed two large-format LED screens — one on each side of the entrance.

Two screens flanking the entrance

Both panels face the flow of visitors. That gives two points of contact instead of one: a customer walking the gallery in either direction sees a screen head-on rather than at a sharp angle. As a result the store’s entrance group reads from a distance.

Why high-brightness modules

Mall galleries are densely lit: overhead lighting, shopfront lighting, neighbours’ light boxes. An ordinary screen looks washed out in those conditions — not because it is poor, but because the background is too bright. High-brightness modules provide the contrast headroom that keeps the image saturated against a bright background.

Why P3 rather than a finer pitch

Viewing distance here starts at three metres: customers see the screens from the middle of the gallery and approach the entrance. At that distance a 3 mm pitch is visually indistinguishable from a finer one, while the price per square metre is noticeably lower. Paying for P2 makes sense where the viewer stands a metre and a half away — at an entrance group that is not the case.

A 64 × 64 cabinet frame

Cabinet construction gives exact panel geometry: a cabinet is a rigid frame with seats for the modules, so the surface comes out even with no steps at the joints. Service is simpler too: you remove one cabinet rather than dismantling the whole screen.
