LED screen in a banquet hall in Kokshetau

The banquet hall in Kokshetau is a venue for weddings, anniversaries, graduations and corporate evenings, where the picture on the wall is part of the celebration. In early June 2020 KazLedPro installed an LED screen here: the owners needed a replacement for the projector and printed banners so that every evening the hall could be dressed for a new client without extra spending. What we did

We installed an indoor LED screen built from 320×160 mm modules. The minimum distance from viewer to screen is 3 metres: guests at the nearest tables see a smooth picture with no grain, while from the far end of the hall the names of the newlyweds, greetings and photo-story frames read clearly. The canvas is seamless, so a video clip or a background graphic looks like one image rather than a set of panels.

Control is simple: the host or the manager connects a laptop, and the screen runs slideshows, clips, video greetings from guests and a feed from the camera in the hall.

Why this particular screen

In a banquet hall the lights are on almost all the time — chandeliers, decorative lighting, photographers’ flashes. A projector gives a pale patch in these conditions, and it has to be switched off during the dancing. An LED screen, on the contrary, works at full brightness and becomes part of the lighting design itself. The 320×160 mm modules made it possible to build a canvas of the right proportions for the space and gave a comfortable viewing distance from 3 metres — guests do not usually sit any closer.
