In early May 2021 KazLedPro installed an LED screen in the assembly hall of the National Security Committee building in Taraz. The hall is used for meetings, formal events and training sessions, and the client needed a screen on which documents and presentations — not just video clips — are readable from every seat. The video above shows the screen in the hall.
What we did
We installed an LED screen with a P2 pixel pitch built from 320×160 mm modules. The minimum viewing distance is 2 metres. P2 is a dense pitch for indoor use: 250 thousand pixels per square metre, so tables, diagrams and small text on slides are readable from the front rows without graininess. The canvas is assembled without seams and shows a single image across the whole screen; it is controlled from a computer, and content for a meeting is prepared in advance and switched in seconds.
Why this screen
For a departmental assembly hall where the screen carries text rather than advertising, pixel pitch matters more than area. P2 makes it possible to seat the presidium and the front rows close to the stage without losing legibility, and the 320×160 mm module allows the screen to be built to the exact width of the stage. An LED canvas works with the lights on: there is no need to darken the hall for a formal event.
What the client got
- a screen for meetings and ceremonies with text readable from as close as 2 metres;
- full brightness with the hall lights on;
- fast switching between presentations, documents and video;
- installation and setup by a KazLedPro field crew in Taraz.
