SuperStep LED fit-out at FORUM mall

The SuperStep store at FORUM mall in Almaty is a large retail project by KazLedPro with a high share of non-standard solutions: corner screens, installation into niches and columns, two cabinet sizes, bespoke housings for the tickers.

Four main screens — 32 m²

Each screen is built into a specific zone of the store:

1. In a niche on the right-hand wall of the entrance area.
2. On a column in the entrance area, in a corner format — the content reads from several directions.
3. On the side face of the same column, separately, in a prepared niche.
4. In the exit area, also in a corner format.

All four are built on cabinet frames of 64 × 64 cm and 48 × 64 cm. Combining two sizes made it possible to hit different dimensions exactly and to close the corners: on non-standard geometry a single cabinet size almost never divides evenly on both axes.

Combined area of the four screens — about 32 m².

Screen behind the till

A separate screen is mounted behind the till area: pitch P2.5, about 4 m². The photos show it occupying the upper part of the red till wall and acting as a backdrop for the whole checkout zone.

Three tickers

All three run at P2.6:

• the main one on the footwear wall — 17 m wide, 25 cm high;
• on the column — 2.5 m × 25 cm;
• the corner one — 4 m × 25 cm.

A bespoke rigid PVC housing was fabricated for each ticker. The housing does two jobs: it covers the ends and fixings that would otherwise leave the structure looking unfinished, and it gives a single outline to tickers of different lengths — so three separate units read as parts of one system.

What the store got

• 32 m² of main screens plus a screen behind the till;
• 23.5 metres of ticker across the footwear wall, the column and the corner;
• corner structures and niche installation — nothing protruding;
• design, fabrication, installation and service by KazLedPro.
