An 18 m² LED screen for BORK at MEGA

BORK sells premium home appliances, and the demands on image quality here are higher than usual for retail. KazLedPro installed a large-format LED screen of about 18 m², pitch P2.5, in the brand’s store at MEGA mall in Almaty.

Position does the work

The screen sits in the shopfront plane of the store — in a high-traffic zone. Customers see it from the mall gallery as they walk past, not only once they are already inside. For the brand that is the difference between advertising to people who have arrived and advertising to the whole floor.

Why P2.5 over that area

A 2.5 mm pitch is dense for eighteen square metres. Outdoors or in an atrium an area like this is usually built with a coarser pitch: viewing distance is long and the saving on modules is significant.

Here the distance is different. Shoppers pass two or three metres from the panel and sometimes stop right in front of it. At a coarser pitch they would see a grid of separate dots, and the premium effect would be gone. P2.5 keeps the image continuous at close range — exactly what a brand built on attention to detail needs.

Integration, not just installation

The screen is built into the shopfront plane: the panel sits flush with the finish, with no protruding box and no visible frame. The photos show the brand’s image content running on it — close-up sequences, which is where a dense pitch earns its cost.

What the store got

• 18 m² of advertising surface in the busiest spot;
• an image that holds up from two metres away;
• content changes for any campaign without printing or installation work;
• supply, installation and service by KazLedPro in Almaty.
