LED screen at the RAMS sales office

The sales office of the RAMS construction company in Almaty is where a client decides to buy an apartment, and first impressions here are expensive. In early February 2020 KazLedPro installed two LED screens and stage lighting for RAMS: an indoor screen in the sales office lobby and an outdoor cabinet screen for advertising outside.

What we did

The lobby screen. An indoor LED screen with a P3 pixel pitch built from 192×192 mm modules. The minimum viewer-to-screen distance is 3 metres: a client at the counter or on the sofa sees renders of facades and floor plans without grain and can read mortgage figures and handover dates. This screen shows fly-overs of the residential complexes, construction progress, promotions and the developer’s brand videos.

The outdoor screen. A cabinet LED screen with a P10 pitch in an outdoor build — for advertising aimed at pedestrians and drivers. The cabinets are protected against rain and dust, the brightness is enough for a sunny day, and the coarse pitch is justified by the long viewing distance from the street.

Stage lighting in the lobby — for launches of new phases, open days and events for clients and partners.

Why these screens

Indoors and outdoors the tasks differ, so the screens differ too. In the lobby the viewer is close, and P3 is needed so that a render looks like a picture rather than a set of dots. On the street people look from tens of metres away — there P10 gives the same perceived sharpness at a noticeably lower price per square metre, and an outdoor cabinet carries protection that an indoor module does not need. One universal screen for both tasks would have been a mistake: either overpayment or visible grain.
