Media façade P15

Media façade P15 — a large-format screen for an entire building. Pixel density 4 444 dots/m², brightness 900 nit, ingress protection IP65. It is viewed from a long distance, so the coarse pitch is not a drawback here but a way to cover a large area for sensible money.

Where it is used

• entire building façades — advertising and architectural lighting
• car parks and blank walls that need a large image seen from a distance
• structures limited in weight and wind resistance
• round-the-clock outdoor operation: sealed modules, −20…+60 °C range

Viewing distance

The manufacturer specifies a viewing distance of from 30 m. Any closer and the image breaks up into dots — a media façade is meant to be seen from the street, not from two steps away.

Construction and servicing

Ingress protection — IP65: the screen withstands direct rain, snow and hose-down cleaning. Operating temperature −20…+60 °C.

Power and load

Peak draw is 1200 W/m² (a white field at full brightness); with real content it is about 480 W/m². For a 6×3 m screen (18 m²) that means roughly 21.6 kW at peak and 8.6 kW in normal use. Power supply 110V~220V. In the technical specification we size the power lines by the peak rather than the average — otherwise the breaker trips on a white frame.

What the delivery includes

• fully assembled cabinets — the modules, power supplies and receiving cards are already installed;
• a video processor — chosen for the screen resolution so that there are enough ports with headroom to spare;
• the supporting steel structure to suit the mounting location;
• installation, commissioning and brightness tuning for the site;
• operator training and handover of the firmware files;
• warranty and service — a stock of modules and power supplies is held in Almaty.
